Kart Sport Timing, setup by Ian Rogers supplies MSA
licensed timekeepers and equipment for short circuit
karting events in the UK.
My involvement in karting started back in 1998 when
I purchased a 100c National Kart, although as a
competitor I was at best "average" it did provide me
with "the karting bug", something which today is
still very much in the system!!!
With over 7 years experience as a kart timekeeper I have
been fortunate enough to make many new friends which
would never happened if not for our beloved sport.
In 2004 I was lucky enough to be recommended as
timekeeper for the Rotax World Finals in Egypt, an
honour which I was more than happy to accept. As
well as being the regular timekeeper for Beccles &
District Kart club and a few non MSA clubs I have
more recently become timekeeper for Trent Valley
Kart Club at PFI, also recent meetings I have been
asked to look after were the 2005, 2006 & 2007
Maxxis TKM Festivals at Kimbolton, the 2006
GOkartingLD, 2006 & 2007 Kartmasters and TKM GP
Plate at PFI.
For the 2007 season Kart Sport Timing has been
appointed by Supersport Timing to act as the
timekeeper for the UK National Championship "BRDC
Stars of Tomorrow" providing their timing and
results services an appointment which has been
carried forward to the 2008 season.
